A view of black-necked cranes in the Dashanbao Sanctuary itl Zhaotong City of
Southwest China's Yunnan Province. The protection of wetland in northern Yunnan
has provided a safe and comfortable living environment for black-necked cranes.
There are more than 2,500 black-necked cranes living here, accounting for one third
of the total in the world. The Dashanbao Sanctuary was cited the State-class natural
reserve in December 2001.
