The aged people in Yishui Township of Yishui County of East China's Shandong
Province are given certificates by the township government to receive subsidies on the
even of the Spring Festival in 2002. According to 2002 statistics, the life expectancy
of the Chinese people was 71.8 years old on an average, showing that China becomes
the country with people living longer.
