A comprehensive China festival will be held in Katmandu in September to mark the 49th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China.

Sources say major highlights of the event include a display of 14 Chinese films, documentaries and photos depicting natural and cultural aspects of China. Exhibiting of books published in China, Chinese handicrafts, cuisine and other goods will be presented during the festival.

A 30-member team of acrobats from China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will present acrobatics during the festival.
